On December 15th of 2014, at the "Royal" hall of Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan, Mr. Temirtay Izbastin, who is temporary in charge of the foreign affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sofia, and his wife gave a sherry party on the occasion of the national holiday of the country - the Independence Day.

The event was attended by diplomats, politicians, scientists, activists of culture, art and sport, journalists, businessmen, representatives of the Kazakh Diaspora. Kazakh youths who study here, surprised the guests with a wonderful dance and music of their country.
On 16th of December 1991, came to fruition the dream of many generations of Kazakhs to see their country as an independent state. Then, at the site of the ancient Kazakh land is proclaimed the Republic of Kazakhstan. And from that day it began to build its relations with other countries on the principle of international law.
