On May 11, H. E. Mr. Krzysztof Krajewski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Bulgaria, and his wife Aldona Krajewska gave a reception on the occasion of the national holiday of the country.

The Poles are proud that on 3 May 1791 their constitution was adopted - the first modern written constitution in Europe and the second in the world.

The exquisite event in the embassy's garden and halls gathered many ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of the senior Bulgarian administration, business, culture, media, as well as the Polish community in Bulgaria. Among the guests were: Mr. Valeri Simeonov, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy, Mr. Valeri Zhablyanov, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Academician Julian Revalski, President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Mr. Atanas Krustin, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the President Rumen Radev and Ms. Denitsa Zheleva, Advisor to the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. The event was also honored by Polish border police officers who are involved in the protection of the Bulgarian border.

The guests enjoyed traditional Polish dishes and drinks. The performance of "Zygi Jazz Band" contributed to the good mood and solemnity.
