The 11th World Conference "Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Water" was held from the 6th to the 9thof October in the "Boyana" residence in Sofia.

During it innovative information and the best international practices were exchanged between leading researchers in the field of interdisciplinary properties and water memory - world-renowned scientists, professors from prestigious universities and research institutes, entrepreneurs, managers of companies and organizations, and others from more than 65 countries. Among them was the Nobel laureate prof. Luc Montagnier from France.

The prestigious event was chaired by prof. Gerald Pollack – a well known scientist, professor at the University of Washington, manager and director of the Institute for Risk Research USA. General sponsor and main organizer of the event is the DST Fund - an international non-profit association. Co-organizer from Bulgaria is Global Biomed IT Ltd., to which for the first time joined the cluster platform Global Water Health, a certified partner of the UN in the global campaign “Day of the Water."

The World Conference "Chemistry, Physics and Biology of Water" (www.waterconf.org) is held for the fourth time in Sofia and it is a well-deserved form of recognition for our national scientific contribution and the unique water and natural resources of Bulgaria. During the previous nine consecutive years, the city of Seattle (USA) was hosting these conferences.

The 11th World Conference "Chemistry, Physics and Biology of Water" created a unique environment to promote the ancient culture and nature of Bulgaria, to establish business contacts with foreign partners and a chance to launch innovative companies and firms, for an economy, based on knowledge and ensuring inclusive smart growth.
