The "Art Center-Ilindentsi" Foundation held its main creative event for 2016.
It was named "Images and Sounds". Traditionally, this event happens in Ilindentsi, with the assistance of the Municipality of Stroumyani and the Union of the Bulgarian Artists. On the 15th of October at the art center a bunch of things happened...
A new part of the gallery complex "The Marble City of the Arts" opened, with ceramic sculptures by the artist Atanas Gadzhev. The labyrinth among stone constructions became even richer and more interesting. The sculptural object created by Ivan Rusev "60 Million Years Ago - The River" is also included in it.
The audience saw the shared art exhibition - result of the picturesque spring workshop organized by UBA and the "Art Center-Ilindentsi". Works of Sasho Evtimov, Atanas Tashev, Valentin Topalov, Donka Pavlova, Stefka Aroyo and Chavdar Petrov could be seen there.
The beginning of the new international creative workshop was set, featuring Kamen Starchev, Milcho Kostadinov, Dimitar Petrinski, Dimitar Petrov.
There were also musical performances - classical music for stringed instruments. The 13th edition of the International Folklore Festival "Maleshevo Sings and Dances" 2016, was also announced.
The guests had the opportunity to explore the tourist site "Clayed Eco Houses" in the village of Ilindentsi.
